The beef noodle soup was SO deliciously flavorful and umami. Small and casual place with fast and responsive service. I went with my northern Chinese family who enjoyed the food immensely. Beijing Zha Jiang Mian was almost just like the flavor in Beijing (though a bit more gingery than the hometown version according to my family members). A quick and delicious dinner with generous portion sizes. Seriously can't get over the beef noodle broth! Highly recommend!

The Beef Roll was definitely amazing very flavorful like a small Chinese Beef Wellington. We all loved it unanimously. The spicy and tangy dumplings were so delicious also. They also were very accommodating by allowing us to substitute vegetarian dumplings in the spicy and tangy sauce.

What a great find! Best noodles I've ever had. Came here with some teammates on a work trip and we all enjoyed it. Fast service and a hole in the wall kind of atmosphere.

We still come here regularly but don't post a review every time, but thought I should post an update. Basically, yup, if you stick to their Northern style dishes, you will have excellent food. If you pick items more familiar to western palates... well, you get what you get. I usually order their noodle soups, the lamb being my go-to. All are excellent. I'm also partial to their chive pockets. Their dumplings are always good. A couple of items I haven't previously reviewed: - fried green beans, no chilies. This was ridiculously delicious!! - flavoured tofu with green onions. This is also ridiculously delicious.

I haven't dined-in at this restaurant but I ordered through Uber Eats. I was craving thick noodles so I decided to try this place for a lazy day in! I ordered their sizzling spicy chilli noodles with blade-cut noodles. They were very fast in preparing the order!! The noodles itself were delicious! It came with bok choy, lots of garlic, and chilli oil. The blade-cut noodles were thick but well coated with the mixture. For $15, the portion size was pretty big! I would definitely order from here again or even try going in-person! Their menu is huge and have lots of options.

We took the aqua bus over from the Granville Market just to try this place. We only ordered the pan fried pork dumplings. The dumpling was outstanding; the pork filling was a little bland. The complimentary tea that was served was good. We were seated right away. Although service was not particularly friendly, it was efficient. The place is a dive with super worn out booths, but it is clean.

We were on the hunt for noodle soup for breakfast and found this place and we're so glad that we did. It's a small restaurant with little seating and I noticed lots of to-go orders were being picked up too (an option if there's no seating). The broth, noodles, meat and garnishes were amazing! The beef roll was also delicious and we split that. It was more than enough food for the both of us. We left full and happy before we started exploring Vancouver!
